Day Three - The Burning Crusade
So, the burning crusade expansion for WoW came out Tuesday. I got my copy that day, and played some, despite my car dying and having a crappy day all around. I played some yesterday as well.
So, here are my thoughts. Unlike most players who have 60s, I have started a new character, from scratch, and am leveling her from 1 to 70. My 60 is retired due to lack of a guild on her server. But my new guild on Shadow Council wants shamans - and I am very well known as being a shaman "expert" - so I am working on a new shaman for them. On the other hand I have a Blood Elf paladin on Silver Hand, also a new character, which is my alt.
As I watch the rest of my guild running into outland, while I work on the new quests in the starting zones, I see their excitement to see new places and new gear. I am working my way up, enjoying the new quests. Its a great motivation to get to 58 so I too can step through the dark portal.
I'm enjoying the new zones so far. They feel bigger even than mulgore, and that is quite nice.
