Some fun and nifty stuff for the day, in leu of the depressing post I was going to make, but decided not to, since no one out there knows the people I would be talking about. If I catch you online, I might mention where I've been this weekend. Otherwise, its not a worry.
Today (19th) is National Talk Like a Pirate Day! Avast!
Jack: No. Not good. Stop. Not good. What are you doing? You've burned all the food, the shade, the RUM.
Elizabeth : Yes, the rum is gone.
Jack Sparrow : Why is the rum gone?
Elizabeth : One, because it is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. Two, that signal is over a thousand feet high. The entire royal navy is out looking for me; do you really think that there is EVEN the slightest chance that they won't see it?
Jack Sparrow : But why is the rum gone?
Also, other interesting things for the day, Der Fuehrer's Face, aka Donald Duck in Naziland, one of my favorite lost bits of Disney happiness lost to the, ahem, cleaning up of Disney. Video, and um, NSFW. This has finally be rereleased, for the first time since 1942, on DVD.
