So its been awefully quiet around here recently, eh?

Yeah, right.

The night after my court date, I spent the evening keeping Erik company in the ER. See, about three weeks ago he started getting weird little hives. No biggie. Well, they keep getting worse. Tuesday night, they are Everywhere.

Great.

So, they pump him full of antihistmines (mmm intraveinous benydril good) and pain kilers, and send him home. A trip to the doctor, tones of bloodwork, and a trip to the dermitologist later - no news is not good news. Its not Stevens Johnson syndrome (Thank the gods) - but it doesnt seem to be a normal alergic reaction either.

So, hes being kept pumped full of antihystimiens and cortisteroids, but it doesnt seem to be getting any better. At least it doesnt seem to be getting any worse. Tomorrow marks the second trip to the dermatologist, and I doubt any new news.

No emails of well wishing are needed, just keep him in your thoughts. We are both coping, to some degree. It simply is a matter of time before it either goes away, or they find what is wrong. However, if anyone knows any good Alergists or Dermatologists in the Atlanta metro, the information is welcome.
